The telecommunication operator, based in the Manche, offers alternatives to fiber. It plans to double its workforce and triple its turnover in the coming years.
"Fast to implement, between 12 and 18 months, at affordable costs, and performing at speeds of 50 to 100 megabits per second, TD-LTE technology is a transition solution and an alternative technology" the manager.
5.000 municipalities covered
In tpublic initiative networks (RIP), NomoTech has already deployed more than 3,000 hertzian sites in France in order to cover the "Zones-blanches" and upgrade de internet services to high speed access. To date, the company covers nearly 5,000 municipalities (15%) in France.
With a turnover of 35 million euros in 2016 and a forecast of 45 million euros in 2017, NomoTech, and its 200 employees, is present in 35 departments, either through direct contracts or indirectly by working with the operator of the County council.
"Our ambition is to become the smallest of the big operators. We plan to double our workforce and triple our turnover in the next three to five years ", annonces Philippe Le Grand.
In France, 50 to 100 new rhertzian sites will be deployed every year - in 2017 and in 2018 - and up to 200 annual new sites by 2019. The number of final users on wireless technologies (excluding satellite) should climb , between 2017 and 2019, from 70,000 to about 300,000.
